ABOUT US

H.E.L.P. Community Development Corporation (H.E.L.P. CDC) is a faith-based organization located in the oldest black incorporated municipality in America—Eatonville, Florida –established in 1887.

The agency was created by the Life Center Church founders, after identifying a need in this community.  

We have since grown to providing financial education/counseling, in addition to housing counseling programs.

  • Our mission is to strengthen individuals and families throughout Central Florida. We transform communities through housing counseling, financial education, affordable housing development and neighborhood revitalization, resulting in financial stability, long-term affordability and generational wealth.

  • By 2030, H.E.L.P. Community Development Corp. will have expanded access to homeownership and improved the financial stability of families across Central Florida. We will have produced a minimum of six units of affordable housing annually, guided over 2,500 households through housing counseling and financial education, and empowered more than 1,000 clients to improve their credit scores and reduce their debt-to-income ratio to 30% or below. We are with our clients through every step of their housing journey — facilitating wealth and lasting community legacy.
